Juniors - Manly Warringah Basketball
All Potter League Draws now on Website........All playing fees are NOW OVERDUE......
Junior competition is both fun and competitive, aimed at high school students in grades 7 - 12. The competition is run during school terms and is gender based rather than mixed combined boys/girls teams. Juniors run Monday to Friday between the hours of 4.20pm and 7.50pm according to the published draw. No games are played during school holidays.
Our main venue, NBISC (Northern Beaches Indoor Sports Centre) the Manly Warringah Basketball Association home stadium located at Jacksons Road Warriewood, hosts the majority of junior games but due to the increasing demand of team entries we also play at Narrabeen Sports High School and the new Dee Why PCYC facility.
A high percentage of our teams are school based but we encourage parents and players to form their own social teams when schools do not provide this option. This ensures a more competitive competition.
Manly Basketball will run its next competition on 23rd July to 6th December 2018. Nominations will close 9 pm on 15th July 2018 unless competition closes prior to close date. Due to the huge amount of interest please get your entry in asap to avoid disappointment.
Playing fees are $1145 per team per competition. This covers court hire, referees, trophies for finalist and administration of the competitions. Please note that this does not include uniforms. Teams need to organise their own uniforms.
Registration (Insurance): $100 per player or $95 online for 12 months (2 competitions).
